As a part of our Scene Safety Series, we are welcoming Mad Hope to facilitate their Trusted Adult Workshop!

Do you interact with young people on a daily basis?
Do you want to be a better trusted adult?

Led by experienced youth, this workshop provides direct insight into the ways adults can be better supports to young people. If you interact with kids or teens in your day-to-day and would like to better develop skills to help them when they are struggling, then this workshop is for you!

This workshop is a part of the Scene Safety Workshop Series. Participants can sign up for individual workshops for $10/each or $25 for the whole series. If you purchase this item, you are ONLY buying a ticket to the workshop on October 28th.

These workshops are open to anyone wanting to learn about creating a safer and more accountable community. It will focus on building skills for throwing safer DIY events, house shows, and concerts at all-ages and 21+ venues. We want everyone in the music and art scene to feel prepared and supported when harmful things happen.

Have you ever had to deal with someone being too rowdy at a show or not knowing what to do when a band gets called out? These workshops can help you build systems of accountability, support, and de-escalation to better navigate those kind of situations.

Sliding scale pricing available, just email education@makeshiftartspace.org for a coupon code.
