Annual Reports
2023 was a year of expansion and revitalization for Make.Shift, driven by collaboration and the support of our incredible community. This year under the leadership of Janelle Nardone, the new KZAX Station Manager, our radio station moved into the Bellingham Bank Building.
We hosted our first Arts for All Ages Gala at the Whatcom Museum, where we proudly honored Jenn Mason of Wink Wink Boutique.
We welcomed Beth Girma as our new Education Director. Beth expanded our presence in schools and formalized our weekly workshops. We also renovated and backlined our hourly practice space.

2002 was a year of growth and revitalization for Make.Shift. We were able to consistently host in-person events once again and developed some cool new projects. We embarked on the Mural Project, bringing curated mural installations into a mental healthcare setting, launched the first episodes of Make.ShifTV, expanded our job training opportunities by partnering with Northwest Youth Services and Career Path Services, and created our Community Education Program.
