Volunteer at Make.Shift
We appreciate our volunteers so much! Make.Shift onboards a new cohort of volunteers every quarter. All volunteers are expected to attend our orientation. Please fill out the form below to let us know a little bit about you and why you'd like to volunteer. We're so excited to meet you!
Upcoming Orientations:
Saturday June 22nd, 2024 from 4-6pm
Saturday Sept 28th, 2024 from 4-6pm
Saturday January 25th, 2025 from 4-6pm
Volunteer Roles:
Gallery volunteers: Greet patrons at the welcome desk and help out with small projects around the gallery
Education volunteers: Help out workshop attendees and open studio renters to find what they need
Venue volunteers: Take/sell tickets at the door during our all-ages concerts
On-call volunteers: Help out for bigger projects around the space, like cleaning days and fundraising events
Most volunteer shifts are about 3-5 hours. Sign-ups are available only to those who completed orientation.
NOTE: Volunteer opportunities at KZAX (our community radio station) follow a separate procedure.
