Want to record your practice or your band’s next demo? Now you can! Armed with 8 inputs, an arm full of microphones, and a computer to record with you will have access to everything you need to make your band's demo or creative idea come alive.

Note: Completion of our two-part introductory workshop is required to use the recording space independently.

Over the course of this two-part interactive workshop participants will learn how to use audio recording equipment in the Make.Shift Art Space demo recording station.

• During our first session ,participants will become familiar with the demo studio practices,  microphone designs, microphone placement techniques, using Reaper as a Digital Audio Workstation, and audio file management.

• In the second session, participants will use the techniques covered in the previous workshop to record a live band using all the recording tools Make.Shift Art Space has to offer.
