Saturday, May 9th from 1-3pm at MakeShift Art Space (205 Grand Ave) $15 (including material fees). Facilitated by Fiona Ferguson.

This workshop will teach participants basic principles of observational drawing, both figure drawing and drawing from still lives. Participants will draw their own or provided objects, as well as each other.

We will cover blind contour, continuous contour, gesture drawing, and how to break objects into simple forms and shapes, as well as how to train your eye for drawing. It will be very beginner friendly, open to many different types of media, and have a lot of participant choice involved!

Note: Participants are encouraged to bring their own trinkets for drawing, but, of course, many will be provided.
