Sweeping financial cuts across our region have strained the operating costs of crucial community organizations. Without direct support from the community, organizations like NAMI and Make.Shift risk not being able to uplift the community they serve.

The arts can be an advocate for change when a community comes together to make the changes they want to see. We hope artists in the show take much pride in supporting your community through your artwork. We are proud to amplify your work through our gallery, website and social media during this show! 

Star Trek has united people from around the world that seek a path towards a better, sustainable future where money is optional and if you get really smart and good at something, like anything, you can crew up and get after some deep space. 

Sometimes, there's a counselor onboard. Things can get really stressful when you're far from your home and family and also there's aliens. In Star Trek there is someone to talk to if you are experiencing a deep sense of loss and don't know what to do. Maybe you feel like the alien in the room. By loving Star Trek and supporting mental health resources like NAMI Whatcom you can give our community a better chance of a healthy, sustainable future. 

And then we can meet aliens. Like in Star Trek.
