Hey Sport’s debut single “Took a Spill” is a breakneck journey through the comedy of self-doubt.
The indie rock quartet writes what they know: love, illness, dead dads, and the maddening spin of the 24-hour news cycle. Sonically, they turn growing up too fast into a brooding grunge homage—guitar-heavy, dry-witted, and cut from the same cloth as PUP, Vampire Weekend, and Illuminati Hotties.
Their debut 5 song EP, ‘Built to Break’, drops soon. You can keep up with Hey Sport here.
