GLITCHLETTE/Apolojeesus Homecoming Show!
A grand conclusion to their recent mini-tour
Cover: $10 advance, $12 DOS
Featuring Apolojeesus (NYC), GLITCHLETTE (Bham), Flesh Produce (Sea) and Emma Etc. (Bham).
GLITCHLETTE (Bellingham) is the solo project of Autumn Marceau. Her synth pop compositions are emotive, dark and whimsical. An independent musician, Glitchlette's powerful performances have nonetheless earned her opening slots for artists like Xiu Xiu, as well as a high profile collaboration with Jaime Brooks of Default Genders, recently reviewed in Pitchfork.
Apolojeesus (NYC) is the solo experimental pop project of Brooklyn musician Pia Marcoux. Her astructural, electronic compositions draw on sounds absorbed while living abroad -- techno from montreal, experimental rock from sao paulo, or deconstructed chamber music from mexico city -- as well as a fascination with avant pop iconography. Her live sets -- whether lush, echoey drones, maximalist synth pop, or surf guitar over breakbeats - are weird, playful, intimate and absorbing.
Flesh Produce (Sea) is a three-piece experimental electronic project whose music unapologetically drifts between hip-hop, punk, and synth pop, with plenty of surprises in between. Using playful, yet impassioned vocal stylings, and a blend of physical and virtual instruments, Flesh Produce unleash an inescapable surge of sonic audacity in the studio and live performances.
Emma Etc. (Bham) Emma Etc. makes and deconstructs trendy music, blending club aesthetics with pop sensibilities for a mind-bending set of dance music.
