Join us in June for “Devils in the Details,” a group art exhibit featuring drawings and paintings by Logan McQuaig, Kelly Hoekema, Toby Stanger, & Sarah Schild. All four Bellingham-based artists are exceptionally skilled in capturing the exquisite minutia of their subjects. Logan McQuaig’s dark, yet beautiful paintings depict intricate scenes punctured with poignant social commentary. Kelly Hoekema’s style of layering translucent paper in her illustrations of the divine feminine result in hauntingly gorgeous portraits. Alongside Toby Stanger’s surrealist hybrid monsters and Sarah Schild’s pencil drawings of medieval creatures, this collection is a stunning exploration of the morbid and the mystical.
