I'M NEW, WHAT'S GOING ON HERE?
For 9 years now Make.Shift has hosted the annual Valentines Day Cover Show! What started out as an anti v-day pop punk cover show has since evolved into the very specific genre of "whatever you loved to listen to in high school." Local musicians are coming together to play short sets of their favorite bands! ...and you can be one of them! Wow! We strongly suggest your fave bands from the 90s, early 00's and of course pop punk.

Hold on a second people, there are some rules.

OK SO, WHAT ARE THE RULES?
The rules are that you have to email makeshiftvday@gmail.com with who you are, who's in your band and who you want to cover. The deadline for entry is Monday, December 3rd, 2018 at Noon. You have to email us.
This will be our line of communication from here on out.

I CAN COVER ANY BAND?
Well, we're saying no bands from 2018's show:
Amy Winehouse, Thursday, Dixie Chicks, Danzig, Faith No More, The Cramps, Social Distortion, Buzzcocks, The Mountain Goats, My Chemical Romance, Now That’s What I Call Music, Pink, Good Charlotte, NSYNC*, Coldplay, The Velvet Underground, Tegan and Sara, The Cure, & The Killers. 

But, anything done in the previous years is up for grabs.

AW MAN, COLDPLAY IS MY FAVORITE BAND!
That's unfortunate.

WHEN THE HECK IS THIS AMAZING, LIFE-CHANGING EVENT?
Friday February 15th, and Saturday February 16th.

IF YOU SIGN UP PLEASE LET US KNOW IF YOU AREN'T AVAILABLE EITHER OF THOSE NIGHTS!
Keep in mind any unavailability will affect our decision on who's playing the show.

HOW LONG OF A SET SHOULD WE DO?
Plan for 25 minutes of music.
