Zine Work Party: Repro Health Edition
Zine Work Party: Repro Health Edition
Saturday, July 19th from 1-3pm at MakeShift Art Space (205 Grand Ave.) $15 (including material fees). Facilitated by local artist Nico Lund.
Among many other issues we face, Reproductive Health & Services are getting harder to access for many people who need it. Bring a friend and join this work party workshop where we will make as many PSA zines as possible to get out free & factual Reproductive Health information.
Nico Lund will quickly get you up to speed by demonstrating several easy zine styles and show you fun & creative ways to get loads of info into a zine and print them to get the word out to as many people as possible!
We will make Zines to:
Know Your Reproductive Rights
How & Where to get Abortion Support
Facts to Dispel Myths about Birth Control
Pregnancy support for all
New Parent Support
Etc...
The possibilities are endless! Come to explore what you can do to make a Public Service Information Zine so we can go out into our communities and commit random acts of positive impact on someone who needs it in your community!
